His friend, also a doctor, Honza Vlk, comes to Prague to visit the renowned medical capacity of MUDr. Bohous Vydra. He invites Professor Vydra to the mountain village of Vetrová, where he practices medicine. He decides that the "trip" will combine the pleasant with the useful - he will relax and at the same time help his friend with a case. But fate wants it otherwise. Upon arrival, he learns that Honza Vlk has broken his leg, so he decides to cover for him in his absence. But a medical practice in a small village is different from a clinic in Prague.
